Debt Hunt Co-op

Four jobs, one quota, one wolf. How crews extract without becoming Last Man Standing.

Co-op Survival Guide

Co-op is first-class in Debt Hunt. The game is online, the server cap is 50, and the overview still is a contractor carrying a bleeding friend through the dark while the wolf watches. If your “strategy” is everyone scatters for Gems, you are not playing co-op; you are playing four solos on one timer. This page is the squad half of the players hub. Solo habits stay on solo runs.

Pre-queue (lobby)

Update 1’s lobby is where you do the unsexy work:

  1. Difficulty. If anyone is new, Easy. See Getting Started.
  2. Hotbars. Camera on a real slot for at least two people (controls).
  3. Shop rule. Independent by default unless you agree on one shared buy (loadouts).
  4. Rally word. One building type or compass call you can shout at sunset (survive sunset).
  5. Codes. Redeem in lobby if a string exists (how to redeem). Never mid-hunt.

Paste the run checklist in chat once. Then ready up.

Roles that actually split work

Photographer. Walks the path, shoots highlighted subjects, does not tunnel. Photos are S-tier loot (loot).

Box runner. Opens every supply box the line touches. Provision Master exists because this job is the quota.

Miner / breaker. Ores and plank gates on the route. They do not “go make a cave.” If they disappear for three minutes, they are already dead.

Anchor. After mid-day, this person starts thinking about night. They hold the rally, watch the sky, and refuse new detours. At sunset they become the door.

You can merge photographer and box runner on a three-stack. You cannot merge miner and anchor unless you enjoy wipes.

The carry

When someone is down:

  1. Nearest player interacts and picks up. Slow walk, short sprints.
  2. Everyone else stops shooting trees and makes a lane to the rally.
  3. Drop inside, not in the timber.
  4. Do not loot while the carrier is exposed.

If two are down, you are in Last Man Standing math. Hide, do not reset. By a Thread (1 HP win) is a badge, not a pep talk.

Communication without voice

Roblox voice is unsupported on the experience. Use chat macros:

  • SUN — stop farming, walk to rally.
  • BOX — box on me.
  • GEM — gleam, do not all sprint.
  • DOWN — start the carry.
  • SHOP NO — nobody opens DarkMarket.

If chat is too slow, ping with movement: the photographer does a short jump at the box line, the miner does not.

Money rules for squads

There is one corporation. There are not four quotas. If DarkMarket costs contract Cash, it costs everyone. Vote on a buy or skip it. Gems go into the bag of whoever is extracting, not whoever “called dibs.” Read pay off the debt as a crew, not as four competing streamers.

What breaks crews

  • Four people buying guns.
  • Nobody watching sunset.
  • Mining through the hunt “because Easy.”
  • Arguing about scripts instead of boxes.
  • Dragging a tourist onto Insane for Warlord stats.

Fix those, then worry about Hard. Badge flexes that need isolation (Absolute Being, Slow and Steady) should be dedicated runs on badges, not surprises in a loot night.

Co-op is how the stills look. Quota is still how you win. When the wolf is on screen, you are a door, a carrier, or a problem.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Debt Hunt questions.

How many players is ideal?

Three or four with roles. A full 50-player server is chaos. Start with how to play.

Who should carry?

Whoever is closest and not already the only camera. Practice before Insane — survive sunset.

Should we all open DarkMarket?

No. One agreed buy or Independent. See loadouts.

Is voice required?

The experience does not support voice chat. Use short text calls listed above.
