Debt Hunt Loot Tier List
What to pick up on the way to extract — ranked by Cash per minute, not by shine.
Loot in Debt Hunt is anything that moves the corporation meter. This page is the screenshot table from the tier list hub with the arguments attached. Use it with pay off the debt and the debt tracker. Do not use it as a Pokédex of unpublished item IDs.
S tier — default daytime diet
Supply boxes. Provision Master (150 opens) is the studio telling you boxes are common and intended. They sit on routes, they stack, and they do not require a long animation in an open field. If you walk past a box to reach an ore cave, you are already behind.
Camera photos. Master Photographer (1000) is not flavor text. The camera is a tool. Highlighted subjects — evidence, creatures, traces — are the shots that should pay. Photographing the sky is a hobby. Keep the camera on a hotbar from controls.
A tier — strong on the way, fatal as a destination
Mineral ores. Master Miner (500) means nodes are a real career. They are A instead of S because tunnels eat sunset. Mine what you trip over. Do not make a shaft on day one. If a node is inside a lit interior at night, it can stay A; if it is a hillside whistle, it becomes C after dusk. See survive sunset.
On-route treasures. Archaeologist (100 digs) confirms buried value. Dig the mound in your path. Ignore the mound you need a compass to brag about.
B tier — spikes and keys
Gems. Gem Alarm exists. That is the entire warning. High value, scripted attention. Pocket and rotate. A squad that sprints across the seed for every gleam will post Last Man Standing for the wrong player. Role calls: co-op.
Plank-gated rooms. Wrecking Crew (100) is a lot of wood. Breaking is a key, not a loot type. Rank the room, not the plank. If the room is two boxes and a photo subject, the break is A. If the room is empty flex architecture, the break is C noise.
C tier — looks like the game, pays like a delay
Combat leftovers. Official media shows guns and a caged target. You will shoot. You should not route your day around finding a cooler gun. Ammo spent on trees is Cash you did not extract. Put “maybe a weapon upgrade” after the daily floor.
Deep caves. They combine ore (good) with distance (bad) and night (worse). Medium+ should treat them as a day-2 luxury.
D tier — trailer brain
Hunting the wolf for loot. The description never says the win is a pelt. You fight to save a carry. You do not farm the hunter. If a patch later adds a documented bounty, it will land on updates and we will move this row.
Inventory discipline
Bag space is a hidden rank. Drop junk that is not Cash-dense before you skip a box. DarkMarket extra bags are only A if you already fill the default. Loadout pairing is on loadouts. Solo players should bias S-tier because they cannot parallelize mining and photos — solo runs.
Patch honesty
Update 1 rebuilt the lobby, not the entire loot table. If a future note nerfs photos or buffs Gems, this list changes by date, not by vibes. Until then, screenshot the S/A rows and run Easy until the floor is automatic. Then argue about B-tier on Hard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Debt Hunt questions.
Why are boxes above ores?
Boxes are on paths and scale with a 150-open badge. Ores become a trap at sunset. Economy context: pay off the debt.
Are Gems S tier?
No. They are B spikes with a pickup alarm. Do not reroute the whole seed.
Where do weapons rank?
As C for routing. They matter in a fight, not as a loot destination. Pair with loadouts.
Does difficulty change the list?
It changes how much C-tier you can afford. Track the floor on the debt tracker.
