Debt Hunt Debt Tracker
A floor calculator you can run in your head — quota divided by days, then a shop rule.
The debt tracker is one sentence: remaining Cash owed ÷ remaining days = today’s floor. If a detour cannot beat the floor, skip it. If a DarkMarket buy does not reduce remaining days, skip it. That is the whole tool. Everything below is worked examples and a fill-in table. Pair with pay off the debt and the run checklist. Parent: tools hub.
Fill-in (screenshot this)
| Field | Your number |
|---|---|
| Quota (Cash owed) | |
| Days remaining including today | |
| Today’s floor (quota ÷ days) | |
| Cash on hand | |
| Gap (floor − on hand) | |
| Shop? (only if a buy prints a day) | Yes / No |
| Cave allowed? (only if gap is huge and sun is high) | Yes / No |
| Night mode? (sun dropping) | Forced No on caves |
You do not need exact UI labels. If the contract screen shows a debt and a day count, you have enough. Rules of the contract: how to play.
Worked examples (illustrative ratios)
Easy, four days, you have 25% of the quota at the end of day 1. Floor for day 2 is the remaining 75% ÷ 3. You are slightly behind. Allowed: boxes + photos + on-route ores. Not allowed: a new cave, a gun, a Gem sprint across the seed.
Medium, two days left, you already hold the floor. Independent shop. Mine only if it is in the doorway. Sunset: survive sunset.
Hard, last day, gap still large. You are in Clutch territory (badges). Stop shopping. Strip the route to S-tier loot (loot). Fighting the wolf is not a Cash plan.
Numbers in those stories are ratios on purpose. We will not invent a fake 12,500 Cash Easy quota and then be wrong after a patch.
Shop rule (Independent first)
Write SHOP NO at the top of the table until one of these is true:
- A light would let you loot a safe interior after dusk.
- A breaker opens a room you can see is full of boxes.
- Medical saves a co-op run that already holds the floor (co-op).
Otherwise you are paying a tax. Loadout ranks: loadouts.
Profile Cash vs live quota
Millionaire is 1,000,000 saved. That is a bank, not today’s floor. If banking profile Cash would miss the live corporation payment, you pay the live debt. Always. The tracker only cares about the contract on screen.
Squad protocol
One person is the accountant. They state the floor in chat after each dawn. Nobody else gets a private floor. If two players “feel” you are ahead, you are about to buy four guns. Solo players are their own accountant — solo runs.
After Update 1
If the tutorial renamed the debt widget, the math is identical. Recalibrate UI via Update 1 and Getting Started. Codes do not replace the floor; there are none verified on codes.
Use the table. Then go open boxes. The wolf is not going to divide anything for you.
Tiny worked sheet you can copy
Write four numbers in chat: owed / days / floor / shop. Example: owed 3 days left, we have half, floor is remaining half over 3, shop no. That is enough for co-op. If someone answers with a gun wishlist, they are not the accountant. Solo players write the same four numbers on paper because nobody else will. Recalculate after every dawn, not after every box. Recalculating per box is how you stand still at sunset.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Debt Hunt questions.
What if the UI does not show remaining days?
Count dawns yourself. The Clutch badge proves a last day exists — badges.
Can I include a hoped-for code in the floor?
No. Codes are unverified. See codes.
Does this work on Insane?
Yes. The floor just gets meaner. Night still shuts caves — survive sunset.
Where is the checklist for actions?
On the run checklist, not here. This page is the number.
