Every guide on this wiki circles back to the same truth: the corporation wants Cash, not your pelt. The wolf is a threat to your carry, not the objective. If you extract with the quota met and nobody left behind, you won. If you extract with a legendary loadout and missed the debt, you lost. Prioritize the exit the same way you prioritize boxes.

When to start leaving

Daylight in Debt Hunt is a finite resource. The sunset triggers the hunt, and the hunt turns valuable farmland into a death trap. Use these signals:

• Sky turns orange — this is your two-minute warning. Finish the current node and begin rotating toward the rally point.
• Gem Alarm sounds — someone on the server picked up a Gem. The wolf knows. Rotate immediately.
• First distant roar or hunt indicator — the monster is active. If you are not in a building, you are exposed.

The mistake veterans make is treating “one more node” as a rounding error. On Easy it might be. On Insane, that detour is how you become Last Man Standing for the wrong reasons.

Rally point discipline

Solo extract rules

Solo players have a simpler problem: there is nobody to carry and nobody to wait for. Your escape plan:

• Pick a rally close to the likely extract zone — scout the map for the exit in the first ten minutes.
• Bias S-tier loot early — supply boxes and photos are fast Cash. Save mining for when you have a buffer.
• Leave before you feel ready — if the sky is changing and you are 80% to quota, leave. The remaining 20% is not worth a night fight.
